This Rap Video Taught Me How to Cook Curry From Scratch

To me, rap is educational by definition so I don’t know why children’s shows need to shove rap down kid’s throats along with a lesson on how to tie their shoes or whatever else.

The contrived nature of wrapping (no pun) learning material in a Hiphop package is usually corny as fuck but this very educational song about making curry doesn’t feel that way.

Jamil Suleman & Spekulation are knowledgeable enough to know how cheesy something like a rap song about making Curry-NA-Hurry can be, so they set the stage correctly, and immediately, with a laugh track and family sitcom vibe to match the visuals. The beat is definitely infectious and Jamil can really rap, which makes the track an enjoyable listen.

Watch the video above to learn how to make curry in a hurry with only $20 and an hour of time. Check out the recipe (given in the song) below.

Curry-NA-Hurry

Decide on the heat intensity of your curry (mild, medium, hot)
Decide on protien (beef, fish, chicken) or vegetarian
